Walkabout Part 3

Yesterday was a rally nice sunny day, although it was -10C, we decided to go for a family stroll through the woods and down to the sea.
Mr Tumnus land is strangely serene.


In the distance you can see Ellen's Creek which is now finally frozen over.

The river is actually part of the sea if you take a look a a Charlotte town map
On our walk we found a small cliff top on which we could view down over the water.
Run!!
This guy was out eating on the cliff top over looking the icy river below. He was a red squirrel, of which is rare in the UK apparently as they've been eaten up by grey squirrels... or something.
I suggested that w come back to this picturesque bench with a thermos of Bovril :)
We're going to use this spot to take a picture each of the coming seasons.
Taz was on her Baby Bjorn, strapped to me so she kept nice and warm :)
